Oh yeah, and it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simple Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>2\/3 cup baking soda<\/ul>\n<ul>1 tsp fine sea salt (optional \u2013 direct application of the minerals in sea salt is great for teeth, but can be left out if the taste is too salty)<\/ul>\n<ul>1 \u2013 2 tsp peppermint extract or 10-15 drops peppermint essential oil (or add your favorite flavor \u2013 spearmint, orange, etc.)<\/ul>\n<ul>filtered water (add to desired consistency)<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why make your own toothpaste?
