To My Daughter on Her Baptism

February 24, 2014

Along with the pastor, I baptized you yesterday. I felt so proud of you and tremendously thankful to God. There’s nothing more joyous for Christian parents than to see their children following Jesus and growing in faith.

You have been blessed with tremendous gifts and wisdom beyond your years. You are extremely talented and insightful, and you have been born into a place and time when you have nearly unlimited opportunities to develop your potential. Don’t throw away what God has given you. These privileges, blessings, and gifts are not merely for your own enjoyment, but for the sake of building God’s kingdom. Please remember, “When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required” (Luke 12:48). At the end of life, no one ever regrets living as God calls us to live. Use what God has given you to make your mark on this world—a mark that looks a lot like the light of Christ.

I love you with all my heart … Mommy 🙂

My Son Lost His First Tooth Today!

February 23, 2014

My son lost his first tooth today. My husband was outside talking to his friend and I was working in the computer while he was sitting next to me watching a movie with his brother. He look at me with a big smile and said,

Here it is Mom, I got my tooth out!

I could not believe it, could it be so easy? He was so concern about the possible pain and blood that it just did not make sense at all. We both laugh and he run to tell his papa his tooth was out and he did not even cry.

What a great boy we have and how proud I am of him. He got his $5 first tooth price and he is looking forward to collect his $1 for the rest of them 🙂

Thomas the Train and Friends!

January 26, 2014

Amazing how babies goes through faces in life. His first obsession was Thomas the Train. He got then all but it was never enough. We even got the movies for him and his siblings learned to play the theme in their violins. What a simple life, being able to play his trains day and night.
